No other curved edge laminate worktop range, that we offer, utilises this futuristic technology during the manufacturing process. As you can see from the image to the left Egger have added a substrate between the chipboard and laminate. In order to protect the most delicate part of a laminate worktop… the edge. The most common place that a worktop gets damaged, now comes with extra protection!

Splashbacks
A stylish alternative to tiling, the easy to fit Egger splashback requires no grouting. Also it is simple to look after and maintain. Perfect for those who want minimal hassle and upkeep. Available in all decors.
Upstands (Square edge, edged on all four sides)
Often used as a contemporary alternative or stylish accompaniment to tiling. Additionally Egger upstands provide protection from water ingress to the back edge of worktops. Also available in all decors.
Matching edging for that finishing touch, because details matter
Matching 1.5mm ABS edging is available for all worktops. Additionally ABS Endgrain edging is available for 40mm Fellwood Square Edge Worktops.
Profile Edges
Egger’s square edge worktops offer a stylishly sleep profile. Also with clean lines that mirror the look of granite and stone. As well as with wood.
Also Egger’s curved edge worktops have a unique, advanced, high density protective layer underneath the laminate edge. Therefore making the edge of the worktop ,more resistant to impact. Also this stops any show through of the chipboard core.

EGGERseal waterproof sealant and adhesive
Not just for jointing, but can be used to fix splashbacks / upstands
Also colour match to the worktop, splashback and upstand to give a seamless and waterproof finish. So it is used as a sealant bead between panel and worktop. Lastly they use toughened polymer technology.
All of Egger’s worktops are available as PEFC certified. Also they are easy to recycle and an environmentally friendly option.
